For anyone looking to do something similar we are doing the Inductive Bible Study by Kay Arthur. Around 12 years ago Kristin and I would do these together. You use color pencils and pens to mark key words. Doing so helps connect the dots of important themes in the Scriptures.

Also, there really isn’t anything better than your spouse praying out loud over you. (By the way, everyone’s nervous to pray out loud at first. Don’t use “embarrassed” as an excuse. Do it! It becomes more natural only through experience. Your spouse will thank us later!😉)
